We’re empowering givers with the best tools for philanthropy so that you can give more than you thought possible
The Canadian National Christian Foundation seeks to advance the Kingdom of God by inspiring and encouraging Christians to be good stewards of their time, talent and treasure.
To see Canadian Christians releasing their resources so they may fully experience God at work in their lives, our nation and beyond.
To see those resources used effectively by Canadian Christian charities as they do God’s work, His way, and experience His results.
To help Christians convert the currencies of this world to heaven’s currency by encouraging them to invest wisely in, and give generously to, Canadian-based Christian charities.
In the early 2000s, CNCF Founder, Lorne Jackson, received a prophetic word from God through a Christian brother in Malaysia. Lorne was to create a foundation in Canada, and empower a new breed of financiers who share an obedient love for the work of God, more than the corrupting love of money.
In a step of faith, Lorne started CNCF as a foundation that offered giving solutions to Christian donors. As Lorne’s vision spread, a phenomenal team of brilliant, faithful, like-minded people began to form as a force for Christian values in the financial world.
While there are endless advocates in finance for the love of money, excess, selfishness, fear of the future, and maximizing returns, CNCF empowers those with a different conviction - money belongs to the Lord, and is redeemed when stewarded faithfully, and given generously.
Lorne’s captivating vision has now expanded to include comprehensive solutions for giving management through CNCFs Giving Funds. In 2024, CNCF stewarded more than $91 million in managed assets for the work of, and the glory of God, in Canada and around the world!
We believe that leaders in a Christian organization must act in a manner befitting a disciple of Jesus Christ, the model of perfection. Accordingly, our behaviour must be respectful, ethical and honouring to God. We believe integrity involves “doing what we say we will do”. We will operate with integrity and expect the same from others.
We believe that God owns everything and that this truth should be at the centre of all that we do. We will earnestly seek to be obedient to the stewardship principles given to us in the Word of God and endeavour to place obedience to those principles above our own thoughts and desires.
We believe Christian organizations are led by Christ-centred leaders to effectively steward God’s resources.
We acknowledge that our donors and donees are partners with us in Kingdom building and instrumental in our success. To that end, we are committed to proactively identifying and responding to their needs in a professional, courteous and compassionate manner.
